, initially, police told us they were looking for kim tolefree as well as a 1-year- old child, a girl. her name was -- her name is isaza tolefree. she was described as last wearing a pink shirt with blue bears holding anage and yellow blanket and kim tolefree was last seen wearing a plaid and beige coat, acid washed jeans. we're told the suspect was armed and dangerous. the twist -- and we just got done talking with oakland police and her daughters as well, we're told this may not be a child at all. it may be a case of domestic violence involving drugs. here's what one neighbor said. we don't that have sound right now. we're trying to sort out out the details. a cording -- sort the details. this 1-year-old girl, according had kim tolefree's daughters, the child does not exist. it may have been a matter of a domestic violence case with drugs. pline floor -- brian flores, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> we're following developing news out of turkey. a suicide bomber set off explosives killing himself and an embassy security guard. coming up at 7:15, what we are hearing about the group responsible

death. alan wang joins us now live from fairfield. >> carolyn, police know the girl's name, but they are not releasing it because they are trying to contact her family. the mystery around this murder is already attracting people here. word of the young teenage girl found in this park brought lidia and her family here tonight. >> we have kids of our own, so just to think about what this poor girl might have gone through. >> police say the girl in her early teens was reported missing yesterday evening around 5:30. about 12 hours later her naked body was discovered in neighboring fairfield at alan witt park. the case is now a homicide investigation, but police are not sure how she died because there were no wounds indicating the cause of death. they say the girl lived in sasoon city, but attended school in fairfield. >> they indicated that she had last been seen in the morning getting on a bus to go to school. normally she would return about 4:20 and she didn't. that's when they became concerned. >> early on police got a tip from this man who says he saw something strange as h

4's reggie kumar shows us what that suspect may look like. >> reporter: this woman yelled of the suspect to stop breaking into the car. investigators say that he managed to gain access through a front window. and repeatedly punched the woman in the face. police say the woman and a daughter managed to escape the home and that a suspect in a second to a male suspect chased the man down the street. the same person that was insulted her in her home continued to assault her in the street and put a gun to our head and even the threatened to kill her. they called police. the suspect returned to the home and ransacked it appeared the victim was taken to hospital where she was treated fo a broken nose. this suspect is described as a hispanic male. 5 ft. 11 in., light complexion, with dark clothing. the victim's daughter was not injured. reggie kumar, kron 4. >> pam: for more than four decades. the 49ers have played at candlestick point in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. the city has announced plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves sou

and killing the 13-year-old fairfield girl. kpix 5 reporter tells us that his life seemed to be unraveling. >> reporter: the murder suspect had grown increasingly violent in recent days according to the restraining order documents obtained by the fairfield daily republic newspaper. he lived with his wife here, one of several homes that were swarming with investigators on friday, but recently moved out, given the fact that he and his wife had separated in december. on january 25, she told the court in an application for a restraining order that she and her husband were in the car headed home when he began describing how a woman he had been trying to date had rejected him. "anthony looked at me and said i don't want to scare you, but i have a knife and a gun and i don't want to die alone." at that point she writes she was so afraid her husband was going to kill her that she jumped out of the car as it was moving and escaped into a nearby shopping center. she wrote, "i believe if i brought him back to the house he would kill me and then kill himself." mrs. jones also wrote of another incident

is on bourbon street tonight. ken tells us it is a mad house there right now. >> a mystery as to the body of a teenage girl was found. her body was discovered at alan witt park. you've gotten new information from business police about that body that was found. >> reporter: we just talked to fairfield police who are in town because of this case. they confirmed that the body found was that of a girl who was reported missing yesterday evening about 5:45. this is a park where she was found. sheps found over there in that parking area kind of near the garbage cans down there. police are try to figure out exactly what happened and who indeed she was. they're not confirming exactly who she was to us. we are at alan witt community park. it was about 6:45 this morning when a passer by spotted the body and reported it to police. the parking lot and park was cordoned off. police would not describe the body other than to say there were no obvious signs of trauma. this afternoon they did say her body was found naked. they add that she was light skinned and could have been anywhere between 12 and 19 ye

to you. neighbors tell us they're certain ly upset by this. among the people hit, two small children, but they also tell us they're not totally surprised that it happened at all. even where these people were crossing, they say that drivers often just don't slow down. now, pittsburgh police arrested 24-year-old noah delgado about 45 minutes after four people were hit. a 29-year-old woman was pushing a 1-year-old in a stroller and the woman's 7-year-old daughter was riding on a bicycle as they crossed the street about 5:45 last night. witnesses saw it and helped lead police to the car which was several blocks away from the scene. police say he took off from the car and they located him about 45 minutes later. one neighbor told me he has to warn clients at his group home to be very careful. here's pittsburgh police. >> alcohol does not seem to be a factor at this point for the collision and our traffic investigators are still working to determine the speeds and anything else that may have led to this collision. >> and we have to let those guys know that in this area, especially not when

"today in the bay's" bob redell joining us live from the berkeley police department with the latest on this ongoing investigation. bob, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, jon. police in berkeley need your help in finding the people behind this late-night assault. what makes this crime somewhat unusual is the fact that the suspects are three teenage girls. last friday night around 9:40, they attacked and attempted to rob two adult women on the edge of the cal campus on dwight way near prospect street. victims tell police as they were walking they tried to go past the three teens. one of those teens sprayed something in the face of one of the women, possibly pepper spray. the girls grabbed the second woman as they tried to run away, punched her in the face, knocked her to the ground, sprayed her and tried to rob her. a man who happened to be walking by stopped the robbery and scared the teens away. the women were hurt. police say suspects drove off in a white dodge charger and description of them is such that they are three african-american teenage girls.
